Preview Panels for the Final Issue of "Mayday:"

Black Mask Studio recently send the horror chamber preview panels for issue #4 of "Mayday. This issue is written by Curt Pires with illustrations by Alex Diotto & Chris Peterson and colors by Dee Cunniffe.

Issue #4 of "Mayday" is available at participating comic shops.

MAYDAY is a chance to go into the utterly bizarre world that lives in the shadows of Los Angeles.

When issue #1 came out it sold out at Diamond Black Mask scrambled to get a 2nd printing going for stores. Then the announcement that Tim Kring's Imperative Entertainment is developing MAYDAY for television has propelled this crazy little book into something even bigger. Issue 2 came out and upped the insanity on every level. Issue #3 elevated things further. And this Wednesday issue #4 will conclude one of the most bizarre comics of the year.

A washed-up, drug-addicted screenwriter and a transgender bartender stumble onto a Satanic cult's plan to sacrifice people all across LA (geomapped in the form of a pentagram, of course) and bring on Armageddon. As our intrepid, damaged heroes embark on a suicide mission to stop the crazy cultists, even they wonder if this is all really happening or if they're just plain crazy. Probably both. The latest project from Curt Pires sees him teaming with art sensation Chris Peterson for a story that cuts to the very center of Hollywood mythology and depravity itself.

Black Mask Studios Announces Reprint of Issue #1 of "Mayday"

Black Mask Studios recently send us over NSFW preview panels and information about the reprint of issue #1 of "Mayday". The first issue sold out and it was recently announced that Tim Kring's (HEROES) Imperative Entertainment has plans to develop "Mayday" for TV.

"Mayday" Issue #1 reprint is due out on June 3rd along with Issue #2 of the comic.

Before it even hit shelves MAYDAY #1, our crazy little drug fueled cult book, was sold out at Diamond and the buzz was building. With the announcement that Tim Kring's (HEROES) Imperative Entertainment has plans to develop MAYDAY for TV the books became even harder to get your hands on. So after last month's sellouts for WE CAN NEVER GO HOME #1 (reprint in shops this Wednesday) and SPACE RIDERS #1 (reprints in shops next Wednesday) we were once again unable to meet demand.
